Payment Terms & Conditions

TDT and cbHansonCMV utilize the Square Payment Platform to facilitate payment and transaction processing.  Please visit their website below for complete terms and conditions relevant to this processing system.  

​TDT has flexible payment terms available, however we require full payment prior to the day of training unless other arrangements have been made.  

As of 06/21/2024, we can accept the following payment types:

Please note, online payment methods include all processing charges in the total (we don't charge you anything extra to use a card online) 


Phone payments may incur up to the state allowed surcharge (5% of the total) not to exceed $25 per $1,000 charged.  


Unfortunately we do not accept personal checks or cash for security and liability reasons.  

All payments must clear our bank prior to the start of the training and there is generally a 10 day hold on all checks with approved business credit applications.  If you need to take a class online immediately after the payment has been made, please contact our staff and we can attempt to work with you.  

TDT does not allow house accounts, charge accounts,  promise to pays or IOUs.  If you need to be billed for a training (such as a large group, a city or other organization of government etc) we can make arrangements.  A minimum of 50% of the cost of a large training must be paid (and payment cleared) 10 days prior to the first day of training.  

Out of State Trainings (anything greater than 250miles from the Kasota Training Range) include a travel fee of $450 per instructor per day in addition to any cost for the training.  This fee cannot be waived and must be paid in full 21 days prior the start of any training.    

Any training that is more than 50 miles but less than 250 miles from the Kasota Training Range may incur a fee of $150 per day for travel expenses.  This fee may be waived based on the size of the training group.  

TDT is proud to offer eligible First Responders a discount of 10% of the regular price of all of our trainings.  Please contact us before payment so we can arrange the manual discount.  Please note: this discount cannot be applied to WIOA, ETPL or other outside funded programs.

Student Expectations & Code of Conduct


TDT is committed to providing a safe, secure and respectful training environment so that all students have the opportunity to succeed.  As such the following rules, policies and procedures are in place to ensure that TDT can provide a successful learning experience for all.

We require that all students agree to abide by this code of conduct and understand the student expectations prior to commencing any classroom or behind-the-wheel training. 

You will receive an email confirmation that will include this set of expectations and code of conduct.
